Torncity administrators. – Group a nick If you have a number of different nicks, for example if you are Out you could have Nick[Away]. To make it so you dont need to enter your password in again, and to keep your access in channels you can group them. To do this type /ns group [Main nick] [Main nick password] – —NickServ— You are now in the group of [Your main nick]. – Joining Channels To join a channel, its fairly simple, just type /j #channel-name (You may need to type /join) Notice If the channel has a password on it, you will need to type /j #channel password Registering Channels If you want to make your own channel, either for a faction or your own personal one use this /cs register #channel-name [password] [Description] – 18:04… —ChanServ— Channel #123 registered under your nickname: Kier 18:04… —ChanServ— Your channel password is [your-password] - remember it for later use. – Channel Access You can give people different access in a channel, the owner (Founder) automatically gets ~ next to their name. Below is what you need to type to give people different access. ~ /cs access #channel-name add nick 9999 & /cs access #channel-name add nick 10 @ /cs access #channel-name add nick 5 % /cs access #channel-name add nick 4 + /cs access #channel-name add nick 3 – —ChanServ— [nick] added to #channel-name access list at level 10. – Deleting Access If you want to delete someones access for whatever reason, type. /cs access #channel del nick – —ChanServ— Faction-Bot deleted from #factions access list. – Adding and viewing bots To view all the bots that TC has type. /bs botlist That will show you all the bots, it maybe in your status bar, at the moment there are 68, so be ready for spam. Once you have chosen the bot you would like to have in your channel.
