How To! "Add Music Players to your Profile"

The Profile is the center of the TC identity of many of our inhabitants. A very popular feature is the music player. But how do you add one?

Probably the most used Music Player in Torn City is the "Project Playlist" one. So the first thing you need to do is go to www.projectplaylist.com. Then register for an account on that site...Once on the site(and registered) you will need to start adding songs to your playlist by using the SEARCH. Once you have selected(typed in) a song in the search toolbar a bunch of websites who play it will pop-up on-screen. From there you need to select the song you want...Preview it to be sure it works...then if it works add it to your playlist(if it doesn't work for the whole song preview just look for another site who plays it)(the songs are displayed like a google search). Once you have finished adding all the songs that you want onto your playlist you need to start to get the code and paste it on your profile signature which is under your preferences.

So once you have finished your playlist. You need to goto "Your Account". Scroll all the way down to right next to your actual playlist...you will see links(blue) going downward one of which says "add your playlist to myspace or facebook" select it.There you will see A. Get code for Myspace B.Get cod for facebook etc. you will need to select E. get code for any social network or blog. The a list of all your playlists will pop-up(you can have more then one playlist on your account, but one is fine if your just doing stuff for TC) So select your playlist...you will then move on to step 3. There you have to select whether you want Random Song(Shuffle)Picked each time it is loaded. Whether you have auto-start or not(some people dont like it...i dont know why...just for courtesy i would advise leaving the auto-start off...but really its your choice) Then select the color you want it to be. After that Click "Get Code"

Here is the part that most people have while adding a player without a guidance manual. You will get a huge code.....Ex.

11678641" Once you have it copied...goto your profile signature edit area(under your preferences) Paste it with [flash=270x435] in front of it and [/flash] behind it. These dimensions I worked out so the full size will be shown in your profile. Once you have evrything pasted in the profile sig edit page...make sure sigs are turned on...then save the changes...then go to your profile break out the cardboard and rock TC.
