Oil companyAre we at war? , Torn City Operations is in the middle of finding out !

Just what does it mean for Torn City to fight a covert cyberwar while protecting its customers Oil Companies at Torn City?
"Strange things are happening in the programming and system at Torn City.", the Head of Torn City Operations stated ," the system just hung then disappeared only for a few seconds, there was no backup, no warning, scratchng my head, have no idea...seemed like a test was being conducted, then suddenly everything was normal again ..."

Has the global TornCity cyberwar already commenced?

"All the Oil refinery pipelines for ALL the Oil companies on Torn City, just stopped working....stopping the flow of oil...and STOPPING ALL CASH FLOW for ALL owners of Torn City Oil Companies...this only lasted a few seconds, most owners will not even notice the drop in cash flow...", said the Torn City Security Officer.

....the Torn City Operations and Security officers further cautioned:

"Is Torn City at War, actually I have no idea...things are complicated in cyberspace and a cyberwar at Torn City,... that would be a catastrophe."

The Torn City source stated,"We have to make sure that all Oil Companies understand that in that war, there is no such thing as a winner. (...) We will not "cow town" to extortion at any level (...) Loss of vital Torn City networks would quickly cripple any Oil Company and their CASH FLOW, and none is immune to cyberattack (...) The best way to win is to avoid it in the first place."

Torn City did not comment on the likelihood of a global Torn City war,
...their identification and security measures may be a bit tardy, according to a covert systems operations officer charged with training the Torn City staff on cybersecurity.

"Torn City cyberwarfare isn't as evident as a conventional war, but it's just as real. for sure - a full-out cyberwarfare war is ongoing now. " , stated the Torn City operations officer on condition of anonymity.

Major TornCity Oil Companies that are being attacked aren't really talking about it, but it's going on. Information is being stolen,

Torn City servers and Oil Companies Oil Pipelines controls, Oil company pipeline heating elements, and their headquarters operations and accounting machines are being compromised; attacks are occurring on an incredible scale right now,quietly...

That's why every Torn City employee and officer must take at least two cybersecurity courses, regardless of the IT security integrated into the Torn City mainframe and server systems.

The curriculum of nearly every computer science course taught at the Torn City academy includes this training. But training young operations officers at Torn City in cyberwarfare might not be sufficient.

It may be too late. Is it too late?

In the interview, the Operations Officer proposes the establishment of a covert Cyberspace Torn City operations branch of internal and external experts, to complement and defend All Torn City and Oil Companies interests and to provide the capability to defend the Torn City and Oil Companies technological infrastructure and conduct both Torn City defensive and potentially offensive cyberoperations.

Is this Torn City war inevitable or just an elaborate covert extortion scheme?
