Leading Cyber security experts reveals Torn City's vulnerabilities.

Experts report the experts study finds that Torn City is vulnerable and Torn City Oil Companies and Pipelines rely on Torn City Networks both internally and externally accessible computer networks which are unprotected,.

The networks are used for Oil Pipeline and Oil Company electric power,Torn City telephone service, Torn City banking, Trading and Torn City Army military command and control, as the foundation for their military and economic power and are subject and vulnerable to cyber attack right now.

"Adversaries are likely to go after each other's information systems using computer hacking," said the Cyber security Expert who requested anonymity and who wrote the experts report. "The lessons from traditional operations at Torn City cannot be adapted to apply to attacks on their computer networks. Cyberspace must be addressed in its own terms." stated the expert.

"Working against connected but weakly protected Torn City computer systems, hackers can steal information, make the systems malfunction by sending them false commands and corrupt the systems with bogus information. It is happening right now !"

Is there a "mole" hidden deep within the Torn City organization coordinating these attacks, and providing Torn City secrets ?

Torn City needs to find out before its too late in the experts opinion!

In most instances, the damage from cyber attacks at Torn City is temporary (temporary delays in Pipeline Operations and Oil Company Cash Flows. These unrelated yet troubling events of repeated attacks has lead Torn City to develop systems that are more difficult to penetrate.

The Torn City experts study finds that cyber attacks are most effective when part of a specific operation, such as stopping pipeline operations rather than as part of a core element in a long, drawn out or strategic campaign.

There is troubling evidence that these seemingly unrelated internal events are somehow coordinated Internally by an unknown internal hacker at Torn City.

It is difficult to determine how destructive a cyber attack would be. Damage estimates from recent cyber attacks within Torn City range from a few billion dollars to the $2+ Trillion dollars managed by the Torn City stock market and Asset Investments. To say nothing of the loss of ongoing operations to all the Oil companies, its owners, and the employees.which is significantly more than this.

The study indicates that cyber warfare is ambiguous, and that it is rarely clear what attacks can damage deliberately or collaterally, or even determine afterward what damage was done. The identity of the attacker may be little more than guesswork, which makes it hard to know when someone has stopped attacking. The cyber attacker's motivation, especially, may be equally unclear. The weapons of cyber war are amorphous, which eliminates using traditional approaches because networks mostly use the same hardware and software as internet networks, they have similar vulnerabilities.

"Torn City is totally unprepared for strategic cyber warfare,."states an unnamed internal source at Torn City.

The expert says similar caution is needed for deterring extortion, coersion, blackmail using threatened cyber warfare attacks, as it is difficult to attribute a given attack to a specific adversary, and the lack of an ability to counterattack promptly is a significant barrier.

The expert says "Torn City may first want to purse diplomatic, economic and prosecutorial efforts against internal and external cyber attackers immediately to ward off these potential events."

Can Torn City discover the mole and the potential adversaries soon enough? How do they do it? Interrogate their own staff and suppliers?

Will Torn City be shutdown by the threat of extortion? or events unknown?

Tune in next time, for the next article to find out.
