Traffic police was shocked by the results of a random checkpoint they performed yesterday. Every single motorist driving into their mazes turned out to be an illegal driver. Check with the Road and Traffic Authority (RTA) computer network showed that not a single driver was in possession of a drivers license.
Allthough it was a good day for the Treasury (never have this many tickets and fines been written), the city as a whole was in dissarray, as all sorts of drivers found themselves jailed: truckdrivers, parents driving their kids to school, busdrivers, even ambulance drivers found themselves bunking up with a big fellow named "Bubba". It took the authorities 12 hours to find out that a virus was the cause of all the problem. This virus, called H1N1 (a.k.a. Hiney), had caused the RTA database to be corrupted. Authorities worked as fast as they could (and we all know how fast that is) to restore the DB. Now, we can only hope that not too many people died because there were no ambulances available yesterday
