After a period of relative peace and tranquility, in which our city experienced nothing more than the usual drive-by shootings, arsons and assassinations, the local Council has found itself forced to declare a State of Emergency.

I find myself locked out of my hometown, as I had taken a drive out of town to...ehm..get some merchandise. I approached a police officer, who raised his SMG as he saw me close in."Go back to your homes! We are in a state of national emergency!", someone yelled. Next, the sound of gun fire filled the air, forcing me to  run for cover and hide.

According to some sources, a dirty bomb has been detonated in the city. The target was one of the oldest factions in Torn: 39th street.
Several sources indicate that the Bomb was detonated by Cynic[206537], as he had a thread in the forums where he let the community vote on a target to use his - hypothetical- Dirty Bomb- on.

The hospital dormitories are filled to the top with 39th-members, who -according to their status- will be under treatment for about 3 more days.
