Special thanks to Jan-PL [124482] who has done a lot of work to collect all the damage, rate-of-fire and accuracy statistics. Weapons in Torn City In Torn City you can buy weapons from Big Al's gunstore (via the city screen), from other players (through the item market or for lvl5's and up through the auction house) or, when you reach level 15, from Cascade city. Below is an overview of all weapons in Torn City and the overseas locations.
Contents: Note: there is a seperate page explaining how to travell to the other locations. You can also go and check the weapons multipliers. Temporary Weapons Temporary weapons are a relative new addition to Torn City. They have been implemented in spring 2008. | Africa | | Weapon | Price | sell price | Ammo cost | Damage | Accuracy | | Smoke Grenade | $20,000 | $15,000 | -- | 0 | 100 | | Hawaii | | HEG | $20,000 | $15,000 | -- | 70 | 90 | | Argentina | | Tear Gas | $10,000 | $15,000 | -- | 0 | 90 | | Throwing Knife | $35,000 | $30,000 | -- | 70 | 70 | | Japan | | Ninja stars | $500 | $400 | -- | 60 | 80 | | Mexico | | Claymore mine | $15,000 | $11,000 | -- | 70 | 10 | | Switzerland | | Flash Grenade | $12,000 | $ 10,000 | -- | 0 | 90 | | UK | | Grenade | $10,000 | $7,000 | -- | 60 | 90 | | Stick Grenade | $8,000 | $6,500 | -- | 60 | 90 | Back to top of page Melee weapons Melee weapons are weapons you hit your opponent with, they do not require ammunition and have the best chance of hitting your opponent of all kinds of weapons. There only downside is that they do less damage than secondary and primary weapons. The Melee is not used when defending. It is usually a good idea to have at least one of each type of weapons. When you are attacked, the game-server decides which weapon you use. Having all types equiped, increases the change you are victorious. This earns you more experience, which helps you progress through the game. | Big Al's Gunshop | | Weapon | Price | sell price | Ammo cost | Damage | Accuracy | | Hammer | $75 | $50 | -- | 10 | 60 | | Baseball bat | $200 | $130 | -- | 10 | 70 | | Crow bar | $400 | $250 | -- | 10 | 60 | | Pen knife | $1,000 | $750 | -- | 10 | 30 | | Kitchen knife | $1,500 | $1,000 | -- | 10 | 30 | | Dagger | $2,250 | $1,500 | -- | 20 | 80 | | Scimitar | $8,600 | $5,400 | -- | 30 | 70 | | Buttefly knife | $1750 | -- | -- | 10 | 70 | | Chainsaw | $15,000 | $11,500 | -- | 50 | 0 | | Africa | | Spear | $600 | $400 | -- | 20 | 40 | | Knuckle Dusters | $750 | $500 | -- | 10 | 80 | | China | | Bo Staff | $500 | $300 | -- | 10 | 70 | | Chain Whip | $8,000 | $6,500 | -- | 20 | 60 | | Katana | $16,000 | $13,000 | -- | 40 | 70 | | Twin Tiger Hooks | $50,000 | $40,000 | -- | 40 | 60 | | Wushu Double Axes | $75,000 | $60,000 | -- | 40 | 50 | | Japan | | Sai | $2,500 | $2,000 | -- | 20 | 50 | | Nunchucks | $5,000 | $4,000 | -- | 10 | 70 | | Kama | $50,000 | $40,000 | -- | 20 | 60 | | Kodachi swords | $95,000 | $80,000 | -- | 50 | 70 | | Mexico | | Leather Bull Whip | $1,500 | $750 | -- | 20 | 60 | | Axe | $4,200 | $3,000 | -- | 20 | 50 | | Taser | $5,500 | $4,250 | -- | 20 | 60 | | Ninja Claws | $8,000 | $4,500 | -- | 20 | 50 | > | Samurai Sword | $75,000 | $53,000 | -- | 50 | 60 | | Switzerland | | Swiss Army Knife | $900 | $700 | -- | 10 | 50 | | UK | | Claymore Sword | $100,000 | $75,000 | -- | 50 | 40 | | Find only (cannot be bought in shop) | | Merit weapons | | Rusty sword | 1 merit | cannot be sold | -- | 10 | 0 | | Yasukuni sword | 10 merits | cannot be sold | -- | 60 | 40 | | Canada | | -- | | Weapons gained through missions | | Fine Chisel | cannot be bought | cannot be sold | 10 | (melee) | 50 | | Ivory Walking Cane | cannot be bought | cannot be sold | 40 | (melee) | 70 | | Dual Axes | cannot be bought | cannot be sold | 70 | (melee) | 60 | | Dual Hammers | cannot be bought | cannot be sold | 70 | (melee) | 60 | | Dual Scimitars | cannot be bought | cannot be sold | 70 | (melee) | 60 | | Dual Samurai Swords | cannot be bought | cannot be sold | 70 | (melee) | 60 | Back to top of page Secondary weapons Secondary weapons are the "middle-road" between melee and primary weapons.
